Parc at Midnight : Creatures
We're wrapping up the 9th year of Parc at Midnight with a cycle that bares its fangs: CREATURES.
Seven films were chosen for their horrifying, bloody, mutant or (un)human creatures. From bloodthirsty zombies to sadistic killers, this program celebrates horror in all its forms.

This journey shows that horror cinema does more than just scare us—it questions our era, our bodies, and our beliefs. These creatures thus become powerful metaphors for understanding our world and its upheavals.”

“To create this illustration, I drew inspiration from comic book covers and gory horror films from the 1980s, as well as from the visuals of the metal bands I listen to religiously. This project showcases my dark graphic style and the aesthetics I love so much. The illustration is at the crossroads of the seven films presented in this cycle. A “multi-creature,” a cluster of intertwined faces, flesh, and gazes, the fusion of iconic characters from horror cinema brought together in a single body!”

The cycle will take a break on the weekends of October 10-11-12 and 17-18-19 to make way for the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, which will be screening films at Cinéma du Parc.
