Cinema Manager

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the person in this role is responsible for managing Cinéma Beaubien.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front-of-house customer service staff
  • Welcome and assist audiences
  • Ensure the smooth operation of screenings, events, and theatre rentals
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the premises

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in a cinema
  • Knowledge of arthouse cinema, an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Condition and benefits

  • Salary competitive with market standards
  • Schedule: 30–35 hours per week, daytime and evening shifts, weekdays and weekends (variable schedule)
  • Workplace: Cinéma Beaubien (2396 Beaubien E.)
  • Group insurance after a three-month probation period
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contribution after the probation period
  • Start date: April 2026
