Cinéma du Musée invites you to the opening of enraCINÉ, a photographic portrait exhibition by photographer Yagub Allahverdiyev, created in connection with the film series of the same name.

Born from a dialogue between cinema and photography, the exhibition highlights Indigenous artists and artists from immigrant backgrounds who took part in enraCINÉ by sharing their journeys, artistic practices, and relationship to cinema. Through Yagub Allahverdiyev’s lens, each portrait becomes a testament to the richness of the voices that make up Montréal’s cultural landscape.
The opening will take place between two landmark screenings of the enraCINÉ series: MODERN TIMES, presented at 2:00 PM by Joséphine Bacon, and JUICE, presented at 7:30 PM by NARCY. A great opportunity to extend the conversations and to celebrate together the artists, collaborators, and community who brought this project to life.
