Uprisings is a choral portrait made up of 16 singular trajectories, exploring an intergenerational resistance movement driven by an engaged youth. Through intimate testimonies, the film sheds light on those fighting against land and water grabs, industrial devastation, and the rise of totalitarianism, all while facing political repression. Immersing us in the heart of the Soulèvements de la Terre movement, the film highlights new forms of organization and alternative ways of inhabiting the world, opening up a space for reflection on emerging political and social possibilities.
