Claude Noël, a self-important and accomplished lawyer, is sentenced to community service following a fight with a mascot during the annual Christmas parade. A man who hates Christmas, he must serve his sentence by replacing Santa Claus at the shopping mall. At the same time, at the North Pole, Santa breaks his foot after tripping during a dance. Stuck in an orthopedic boot and racing against the clock, he desperately searches for a replacement. Claude Noël seems to be the ideal replacement, right down to his last name… or so he thinks. Except Claude has no intention of helping him. On the contrary, he uses his unscrupulous legal skills to convince the elves to abandon their jobs and go on a general strike. The elf rebellion is underway, and Christmas has never been in greater danger of being cancelled. Will Santa and Mrs. Claus manage to save Christmas before the countdown reaches zero?
