After isolating herself in a room, Julie hits the road with a truck driver before reuniting with a former lover. Three chapters, three encounters, and a finale of breathtaking candour.
Akerman pushes boundaries to portray queer intimacy with rare freedom. A film of gestures, silences, and bodies that reminds us that some stories don’t need to be explained to move us.
