A woman, forced by financial necessity, opens a restaurant in her home after her husband leaves her for another woman. Alongside a Nikkei chef, an indigenous cook, and an Afro-Peruvian driver, she discovers Peru’s cultural and culinary diversity during the prosperous yet turbulent Lima of 1965.
