After her parents’ separation, Margot, a marginalized preteen, sets herself the challenge of reuniting her family. One day, coming home from school, she is stunned to discover that a stranger has moved into her house and seems to have bewitched her father. Troubled more and more by the inexplicable phenomena surrounding this strange stepmother, Margot becomes convinced she is dealing with a real, evil witch. Determined to save her family, Margot turns to Miss Dalloway, a so-called specialist in the occult, hoping she can help her get rid of the intruder who has taken her family hostage.
