Johanna discovers an old mask at the Ethnology Museum with her grandfather Kito, who has come from Tanzania for a surprise visit, and she learns that it is the very mask that was once stolen from his family! But shortly afterward, the object is stolen again by a mysterious thief.
When Grandpa Kito becomes a suspect, the case takes a personal turn for Johanna. With her classmate Anton and their friend Sweta, she forms a team of young detectives to find the culprit. Will they succeed in recovering the mask? And what connection does it all have to Johanna’s own story?
A comedy about the quest for identity that offers a touching reflection on human relationships.
