Synopsis
A waitress in a Montmartre café, Amélie Poulain delights in life’s small pleasures and quietly observes those around her. When she discovers a box of keepsakes hidden in her apartment, she sets out to find its owner. The joy she brings him inspires a new calling: secretly brightening other people’s lives. But meeting Nino, a young man who collects discarded photo booth pictures, upends her routine. Jean-Pierre Jeunet crafts a romantic comedy whose whimsical spirit reveals the poetry of everyday life.
