Synopsis
This Argentine drama focuses on Alicia (Norma Aleandro), a high school history teacher who is leading a comfortable life with her husband, Roberto (Héctor Alterio), a businessman with ties to the military, and their adopted daughter. When Alicia begins to wonder about the identity of the little girl's birth parents, she finds herself suspecting that her daughter may be the child of people abducted or killed by the government's brutal crackdown on leftist groups.

About Laura Bari
Laura Bari is a multidisciplinary artist of Argentine origin, based in Montreal.
Her work weaves together cinema, literature, photography, and pedagogy. She has been a professor at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal for thirty years, and her creative practice is marked by a deep reflection on the human condition, using art to explore mental health, identity, and resilience.
She is the author of a trilogy of feature films—ANTOINE, ARIEL, and PRIMAS—which have been screened at international festivals and have won numerous awards worldwide. In 2025, she will publish Le corps est une maison sans grands-parents with Éditions du Noroît, recipient of the 2026 Literature Prize.
