In 1985, a giant ball appeared in gyms across Quebec. So unique was it that it gave rise to an entirely new team sport: kin-ball. The love of the oversized ball follows the Canadian kin-ball team as they travel to South Korea in November 2024 to defend their world champion title. Through the players’ teamwork, respect, and vulnerability, a deeply united group emerges. For some, this will be their very last competition. What takes shape is the portrait of a generation of men redefining masculinity through sensitivity, solidarity, and authenticity, one emotion at a time. Win or lose, these athletes are redefining together what it means to be strong, united, and human.
