In the heart of the Algerian Sahara, Boukhani, a hundred-year-old Tuareg man, watches over the valley of Issendilène. His days are marked by the movement of the sun, prayers, and visits from his children, his grandson Sidi Ali, his friend Abdallah, and his cat Farah.
This is desert life unfolding: time seems suspended, the eye lingers, and every detail naturally finds its place alongside Boukhani, guardian of humanity’s intangible heritage.
