About
CHARLEBOIS SYMPHONIQUE is a grandiose celebration of this musical legend's 80th birthday! It's a concert recording in which Robert Charlebois revisits his greatest songs in symphonic versions, including Ordinaire, Lindberg, Je reviendrai à Montréal, and a few hidden treasures! Under the direction of conductor Jacques Lacombe and with symphonic arrangements by Hugo Bégin, the musicians of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal perform songs from Charlebois' impressive repertoire. On stage, 70 musicians are accompanied by the OSM Chorus, as well as contralto Rose Naggar-Tremblay and tenor Frédéric Antoun, who perform some duets with Charlebois. An exceptional, powerful and moving concert, now available for the big screen.
