Barbie Boomer follows Sylvie Longpré, aged 67, who is an avid collector of Barbie dolls. She has chosen to donate part of her collection to the Musée de la civilisation in Quebec City, in the hope of giving her beloved dolls a new life, preserved for future generations. The museum agrees to consider her proposal. Will Sylvie be able to tolerate being separated from her beloved dolls, especially considering that her best friend, Linda, herself a collector of Barbies, is facing many health issues?
