Paul gives up his successful career as a photographer to devote himself to his true passion: writing. However, his books fail to sell as well as he had hoped, his finances begin to dwindle, and self-doubt starts to creep in. To make ends meet, he takes on handyman jobs, which at first prove rather humbling but eventually provide inspiration for his writing. À PIED D'OEUVRE is an intimate portrait of the price of artistic freedom and the vulnerability of a Parisian artist.
