À LA MER DU NORD
Synopsis
TERRES D’AVENTURE FESTIVAL IN MONTREAL
À LA MER DU NORD
The Fur Trade Route is a legendary path, lined with immense lakes and raging rapids. It has witnessed the passages of the Innu and Cree peoples, fur traders, missionaries, explorers, prospectors and forest adventurers.
The expedition will take the brigade 1,200 km, including 400 against the current, to the “Northern Sea,” the old name for James Bay.
This project stands out for its historical significance and deep connection with local communities. More than a physical challenge, it is a human adventure, meeting the land and the peoples of Saguenay, Lac-Saint-Jean and Eeyou Istchee – James Bay, where echoes of nomadism still resonate in the history of northern Quebec.
This session offers an exclusive immersion behind the scenes of the expedition, through the perspectives and stories of those who experienced it. A true invitation to live “À la mer du Nord” from the inside, the event is not a full screening, but rather presents:
- Exclusive rushes revealing the highlights and unexpected moments of the adventure
- Live conversations with the adventurers
A complimentary drink will be offered after the session, providing a moment for meeting and sharing.
