CINEMANIA Film Festival — the premier gathering for French-language cinema in North America — returns to Montréal from November 4 to 16 for its 31st edition. Over a hundred films from across the Francophonie will be presented, including several Quebec and world premieres, with prestigious guests in attendance.

An exceptional jury, co-chaired by Quebec actress Anne Dorval and Franco-Quebec actor Niels Schneider, will select the winners of the Visages de la Francophonie competition.

Following Luxembourg, Switzerland, and France, this year’s guest of honor is the Kingdom of Morocco, showcased through a selection of feature and short films, an exhibition, a festive evening, and professional encounters. This special program will highlight a cinema that is sensitive, bold, and poetic — a reflection of a creative territory open to the world.
