Cinépsy

CINÉPSY is a series presented by the Association des psychothérapeutes psychanalytiques du Québec that explores films through the perspectives of clinicians and human sciences practitioners inspired by psychoanalysis.

Following each screening, a commentary is presented, followed by a discussion with the audience. From a psychoanalytic perspective, these conversations bring to light and explore further with the audience the desires, struggles, triumphs, and defeats that unfold within the hearts and minds of the characters

Because every viewer creates their own experience of a film, CINÉPSY invites audiences to see films from a different perspective, reflect on the works presented, and engage in meaningful discussion.
