Customer service
The tasks of a part-time employee include several responsibilities: customer service, maintaining the cinema, and managing operations related to film screenings. Work schedules are variable and may include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. Strong teamwork skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and effective stress management during busy periods are essential.
Job description
- Providing Quality Service: Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensure they have a great experience in terms of reception, service, and film screenings.
- Box Office: Manage the cash register, sell movie tickets as well as gift cards or cinema cards
- Concession Counter: Prepare and sell food items and restock inventory as needed.
- Ticket Verification: Check or scan guests’ tickets (physical or electronic) before entering the cinema halls.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure that common areas (lobby, restrooms, hallways, stairs, etc.) are clean and well-organized.
- Monitoring the Halls: Make sure the theaters and seats are clean and that all equipment (sound, picture, and temperature) is working properly before, during, and after each screening.
