The film follows the trial of a novelist, Sandra, accused of killing her husband Samuel, who was found dead at the foot of their isolated chalet. The trial becomes a psychological autopsy of their relationship, with their visually impaired son, Daniel, as the sole witness, facing a moral dilemma. The investigation raises questions about truth, guilt, and the reliability of memory.
